Interactive analytical inventory
(While this is a real project done for a client, all data shown is randomly generated sample data for demonstration purposes) This project is part of the internship work I did for a client. After cleaning, joining, analyzing, and reporting their data a month before deadline, I took the initiative to build this software. It is an interactive database viewer/search engine designed to make inventory management easier. Although it was made with their specific inventory in mind, it could be broadly applied to a variety of businesses. To view it’s functionality, scroll and read captions.
First all items types are listed by an identifier of choice
An item type can then be selected
Once selected, all instances of that item (eg. individual deliveries) will be displayed. At this point, an individual instance can be selected and it will be highlighted on a the bar chart which shows date and, in this sample case, quantity.
